Urban Greenery: Biochar, Green Roofs, and Urban Agriculture

Event Details- Wednesday December 4, 2019. What : What is BioChar? An Event sponsored by Pixy and Lakewood Agricultural Supply When and Where : 9am - Noon at the Lynx Center Urban Greenery: Exploring how urban agricultural science, social science, and design can work together. Students will receive two aluminum cupcake cups full of dirt and lettuce seeds. One with biochar added, the other without. The objectives are to grow lettuce indoors, compare performance, inform, inspire, investigate & share. Questions to explore.
