RE.DZINE. Architectural Splendor & Simplicity!
Building or remodeling can be very stressful but hiring the right designer is the key to minimizing headaches. We visited with Heidi Mendoza the owner of RE.DZINE. Heidi has mastered the building process and has the required expertise to provide you with a design that suits both your budget and vision. She is an expert in materials, colors, textures, modules and how these variables come together to yield comfort, value and efficiency.
She is able to create spaces that are not only beautiful, they are functional in the ways you want them to be. Heidi understands the architectural process, whether it’s taking an old room and transforming it into a new space or building from scratch and making the new feel as though it’s been there for generations. PICTURE THIS We dream in pictures so below we are showing some photos of her creations along with some project narrative.

Process: This was a complete renovation. The window above the tub was sealed off for privacy. Heidi Mendoza, "The variegated gray tiling throughout the space creates a very calming and natural feel, especially the wavy pattern on the accent tile. To break away from too much gray I selected an oak vanity, matching mirrors and solid white surface for the countertop.
Client Comment: “We love our new bathroom! It’s our in home getaway. It used to be a room where we take quick shower, but after the full remodel we now find ourselves lingering longer taking extended baths, even reading in the bathtub with dimmed lights and scented candles.”

Mendoza remarked, "When creating the initial concept for this store it was important for me to get to know the client, the end consumer, and the product well. I wanted to truly understand the identity of the store as well as the values of the owner. Then it was important for me to get the feel of the retail space and the entire marketplace so that my design fit the environment. We chose soft, soothing colors and natural materials. I was unable to source display furnishings that fit the concept so I designed them myself. This included the cash register desk and product displays throughout the store. Wood is locally harvested and displays were built by David Dunn. David also happens to be the husband of True boutique's owner Shana Dunn.
